Ragdoll cat coat colors. You can also get tabby also known as lynx variants and tortoiseshell variants. There are other colours now available that have been brought into many bloodlines by out crossing. But nonetheless there are differences. The standard ragdoll catcolours are seal and blue only.

Cream cream is a similar colour to red although it is much lighter. The six point colors are seal blue chocolate lilac red and cream. Full color development may not be evident until 2 3 years of age. The ragdoll breed is essentially a medium long haired breed of cat.

Colorpoint ragdolls have the classic pointed markings and no white anywhere in their coat. And parti colored or tortie. The ragdoll coat however may differ from other cats of this breed. You can tell seal and blue anywhere from a few days to a week but you cannot determine chocolate and lilac for 3 4 weeks.

It is most common to see ragdolls with a red mitted coat. The ragdoll has a bunny soft semi longhair coat which does not require extensive grooming. Then as the kitten gets older the darker areas grow alongside it to develop its pattern. Coat color and grooming ragdolls stand out for their large size semi long coat in a pointed pattern and sparkling blue eyes.
